Over the last few years Friesland in the Netherlands hosted a large amount of special events. Only recentely: ‘The Giants of Leeuwarden’. ‘Stormruiter’ en ‘Wadopera Peter Grimes’. This summer we will add another unique event!

INSPIRATION AND GLORY

 
On June6 , 7 and 8 the world-famous National Ballet of China will visit the Abe Lenstra Stadion in Heerenveen. Their performance of Inspiration and Glory, a show exclusively created for and danced by this company can be seen in Europe only once.

The stadium will be transferred into a beautiful theater that can welcome 14.000 guests per night. These are large numbers but despite of that we made sure everyone can have the best possible quality in sight and sound. This will be a great experience!

Not the Nutcracker or the Swan Lake again, but a beautiful, mystical story built on 4 inspiring myths from the rich Chinese culture. It will highlight themes like: ‘persistence’, ‘working together’, ‘believe in yourself and in each other’! A story that is only told and danced by the National Ballet of China. That is something you don’t see every year!

Besides this beautiful performance by the National Ballet of China we offer an evening that is full of talent. In the Dutch orchestra as well as during the preshow that is especially produced for this evening we enable the best talents to show what they can do to a large audience. The preshow is created and directed by the well-known choreographer and actor Dan Karaty (also a prominent member of the jury of for example (Holland’s Got Talent’).

Our team of the best stage builders, set designers, sound-, light- and video-engineers are putting everything into creating this event into a magical, unforgettable evening for everyone.
