China Cultural Center Den Haag held an intimate tea ceremony with the Dutch Poetic Ink and Yumm Cha, welcoming 18 guests to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
Calligrapher Liza Lin opened the event with personalized blessings, followed by tea tastings of premium oolongs, including Chaozhou’s floral Liuxue Dancong. Guqin artist Zeng Li performed classical melodies on a silk-stringed instrument, evoking ancient Chinese scholarly traditions.
A cultural quiz and interactive discussions on tea and guqin history concluded the gathering.
