On the afternoon of September 24, the “Gansu Culture and Tourism Day”was successfully concluded. Coinciding with the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Gansu delegation once again traveled to the Netherlands to celebrate this special occasion with the local audience.
The event featured a series of captivating performances, including the acrobatic act "Butterfly Loves Flowers – Cup Balancing", "Love for Painted Pottery – Vase Balancing", the magic show "Face Changing", the comedy sketch "Happy Cook", among others . One of the event's highlights was the live demonstration of making “Lanzhou Beef Noodles” by a master chef. Every step captivated the audience's attention, from kneading the dough to pulling the noodles. After the demonstration, attendees could taste this authentic Gansu specialty. Additionally, the event featured a tasting of traditional Mid-Autumn mooncakes, perfectly complementing the festive atmosphere. Despite the drizzling autumn rain outside, those gathered at the China Cultural Center in The Hague spent a memorable afternoon, filled with cultural experiences and the warmth of holiday cheer.
